Wonderful Art Deco walnut cabinet designed by Jindřich Halabala* manufactured by Czech company UP Zavody, Brno.
A rare and iconic piece of Mid-Century design.
Checkerboard style veneer surface on the front and walnut veneer on both sides, top and on the foot.
The small wardrobe has big wooden handles and beautifully curved foot and sides.
Inside is a lot of space - 3 shelving, one divided, features a secret compartment. All parts are original.
A unique piece of furniture for your living room, bedroom or hallway.

*Jindřich Halabala - Czech designer considered to be one of the greatest artists of the Modernist period. The peak of his career was in the years 30 and 40 of the XX century. That's when he worked for a reputable company called UP Manufacturing, Brno. There, he created his most popular models of furniture, including the famous chair H-269, H-214 chair, and table H-259, which have become classics of Czech modernism.
