Ligne Roset furniture

Ligne Roset allows you to incorporate luxurious modernity in your home. Create a contemporary, bold and brilliant lifestyle experience with these gorgeous pieces.

Furniture manufacturing at the riverside Ligne Roset factory is meticulous and still a predominantly manual process. You’ll find careful details and excellent craftsmanship rather than a large-scale industrial endeavour. The company is design-led and you may recognise some of their collaborations with many highly respected designers, including Didier Gomez, Peter Maly, Inga Sempé, and Michel Ducaroy, who designed the instantly recognisable Togo sofa.

Timeless Ligne Roset pieces

Ligne Roset was born in 1860 when Antoine Roset and his son Emile began selling walking sticks, umbrellas and chair frames from a wood processing factory in rural France’s. It wasn’t until the 1950s that Antoine’s grandson Jean Roset began manufacturing the commercial furniture. In the 1960s, the company branched out into the domestic Ligne Roset furniture we know today. Over the years, the brand has evolved to become an esteemed name in interior design. And has never abandoned its roots as a family-run brand based in the French countryside.

Ligne Roset sofas

A Ligne Roset sofa makes the perfect accent piece in a leisure space. Our collection of seating comes in a wide variety of materials and colours. From neutral tones in leather to bright suede and statement sheepskin.

Ligne Roset has produced many distinctive ranges throughout the years, including Peter Maly’s Prao, Claude Brisson’s Zen, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac’s My Funny Valentine and Christian Werner’s Pop. But perhaps the most famous is Michel Ducaroy’s Togo range of sofas, loveseats and cornergroups. They’ve remained highly sought after since their original release in 1973. Ducaroy designed the range of polyether foam constructed seating with afternoon siestas and lazy evenings in mind. Not only are Togo sofas plush and ergonomically-designed for ultimate comfort, the pieces are highly adaptable. You can place your sofa in a maximalist or minimalist setting against most contemporary styles. Try offsetting the sumptuous feel of a Ligne Roset sofa with a piece reflecting the industrial style, or enhance the period aesthetic with a 1970s lamp.
