The Art Deco period is probably one of the most iconic design movements of the 20th Century. Associated with both luxury and modernity, there's no wonder this style has had such a huge impact since being first introduced in the 1920s.

A good piece of Myott pottery can sit beside some of the best like Clarice Cliff and Susie Cooper and justifiably hold its head up high. With an autumnal palette and bold slabs of applied colour and naïve, almost careless washes, Myott pieces are highly distinctive and unique in Twentieth Century ceramics.

This lovely decorative jug has all the elements typical of this period and is sure to look just as good in the home today as it did when first produced. Perfect for any summer garden party filled to the brim with ice cold lemonade.

In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, just some markings to the paintwork all over and some light crazing. Marked Myott Son & Co, Made in England, Hand Painted, H937 2, the jug measures approximately 24cm long handle to spout, 16cm wide and 22cm tall.
