With Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, he will designed a line of furniture: LC1, the chair with tilting backrest, LC2, the comfort chair, LC3, the same in larger, LC 6, the table. The future legendary chair LC4, destined for the villa of Ville d'Avray, gained fame in 1929 during its presentation to the public at the autumn fair. Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, is a very important artist of the 20th century. Self-taught and an artist, he was an architect and urbanist, creator of furniture and tapestries (designer), painter, sculptor, poet, etc. He was born in Switzerland in 1887 and Died on the Cote d'Azur in 1965. He was a Swiss citizen and was naturalized French in 1930. He was a great traveler and worked in 12 countries and has been involved in the construction of 78 buildings and more than 400 projects. He is one of the founders of modern architecture.
