About this item

The mirror with a carved wooden frame (plum tree).
It features
-On both sides : wine tree leaves and grapes with some birds trying to eat them. on the top left corner an angel is holding the vine while on the right upper part a devil is biting it as for the two snakes at the bottom, representing the evil and the sin.
-On the top part, in the center, two little angels are enjoying a glass of wine protected in their circle by two lions.
-On the bottom parts, on each side are represented two little scenes : "L entree de Henri IV dans Paris 1594" and "Louis VII et l Abbe Suger 1132"
