About this item

A pair of solid bronze bookends. Designed and manufactured by Ægte Klokke Bronze in Denmark during the 1920s or 30s. The bookends feature a relief image of Kronborg Castle in Denmark seen from the Sea. Kronborg was the setting of Shakespeares Hamlet released in 1603. Hamlet was a danish king that lived during the 16th century.

Well kept antique condition.
