About this item

Very expressive wall sculpture that evokes the pure, ‘naive’ and unsophisticated stylings and patterns of the 1960ies brutalism and COBRA movement. By methods of torch cut-and-welding rough parts of iron the maker has composed this fantastic semi-abstract animal figure. Quite large sized. Some of the geometric elements are oxidized, some are consciously provided with a coating, which gives a varied texture to the sculpture. All very solid executed- heavy piece! Perfect complementary piece for a ‘mix and match’ interior.
