About this item

The set was produced by Rohé a Dutch design and manufacturing company (each piece, table and chairs, carries their label) who were renowned for producing high end cane based furniture from the 1950s onwards. It looks like Rosewood but in fact the bent cane parts are made of colored compressed cane and the tabletop is colored to match. It’s really heavy and well-built and I’m certain would easily Stand up to a skirmish with a Sherman Tank!

Overall the set is in very good condition with just a few marks here and there to the woodwork and top. The seat pads have been recovered at some point in their history with stunning red damask silk which is totally unmarked.
