Antique 19th century Victorian extremely rare solid silver complete boxed traveling writing set, comprising of a removable writing slope, wax pot, stamp box, large silver box, pens, pencils and letter opener, removable letter and paper rack, three sliding draws. Very decorative and rare set, all parts hallmarked and engraved with crowned initials. Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, year 1863, Maker JMCB (John Mechin & Charles Bazin), All pens hallmarked, London, Maker S.M (Sampson Mordan, specialist in pens and novelties).
