This coffee table was designed by Isamu Noguchi for Herman Miller, and features two identical lacquered wooden parts mirrored and staggered to form a stable base. The base is drop-shaped, featuring a round, polished 19 mm thick glass table top. The Vitra table is organically shaped. From 1947, the coffee table was produced by the Herman Miller Furniture Company for the United States. Since 2002, it has been produced by the Vitra Design Museum for Europe. This is a 1960s version made by Herman Miller. The authenticity was confirmed by the previous owner of this piece.
