The ‘Chloe’ Vintage Stained Glass Art Deco Style Drinks Cabinet

A stunning Vintage Oak glazed Cabinet dating from the around the 1920's to 1930’s featuring updated colourful glass panels, new toughened glass shelving and modern LED lighting, this has particularly pretty shaped glass panels with the addition of ball and claw feet; The cabinet also has a key. 

It is a lovely example dating from around the thirties era with an art deco influence as mentionned, and would have been once used for china and collectables but now makes more of a statement with a modern and colourful update to suit a more contemporary home. 

The frame and interior has been painted in a pale pink eggshell with a slight satin sheen, which works as a great backdrop for the coloured glass panels; which have an iridescent quality and reflect different colours in different lights, so you will see shades of blue, mint, burnt orange, pink, turquoise and even purple throughout the day. The colours are intended to really highlight the stunning deco inspired shapes in the original glass panels and are a modern take on stained glass windows.

As mentionned there is also an LED light panel fitted into the top section where it is hidden from view, this means there is the option to light up the cabinet should you want to. It really makes such a feature of this piece and will create a cosy atmosphere in the evenings. Please note this is a chargeable led light which comes with a charging lead, pluggable into your computer or own plug at home. The light is magnetic so you will not have insightly wires coming from the cabinet and everything is concealed nicely, making it easy to place the cabinet wherever you like without worrying about where to plug in.

This is a one-off statement piece of furniture in both its original design and also it's redesign, there will never be another like it so please don't miss the chance to give this piece the home it deserves. I think it would look stunning in any interior space and add a vintage, characterful look to a bar, hotel room, restaurant, or at home in the bedroom or kitchen even.

The condition is good though this is around 100 years old so please keep this in mind however it has been refinished to a good standard, the glass sections are hand blown to note, so you will see natural imperfections in the glass, it also has a hand-painted finish though this has been done to a professional standard wherever possible. Lastly the cabinet closes using a locking motion with the key, or just pushing shut if preferred; but has the original brass hinges still intact which have been restored. The piece stands solid and the modified shelving is strong enough to hold glassware, books or even a shoe collection! Please note overall that the cabinet is not brand new and will show signs of use, the coloured glass features vinyl which has been applyed by hand, however it has been refinished to a good standard, (see photographs as these form part of the description)  It stands solid.

Also in terms of when you receive this item, the glass shelving will be removed, and these will need to be put in place before use, however this is very straightforward to do with shelving brackets already in place.
