About this item

Coal reserve of English origin, in solid mahogany, opening by a flap tipping over from the front. Its facade has an ornate bronze handle and a panel with flat bands of carved patterns. The interior is lined with a 30 cm deep zinc tray, removable and accompanied by its shovel.
In the upper part, this piece of furniture is set back from a rectangular Mercury mirror with a bevelled edge and molded frame. Note the presence of a trace of age on the right, an alteration due to the 150 years of history of this original ice.
The top consists of a tablet, with curved edges, and eventful on the front. It is itself surmounted by a pediment cut out with floral decoration.
Note that the edges of the amounts of this Coal Reserve are triple grooves.
In addition to the two handles in chased metal present on the sides, this piece of furniture rests on four casters, finishing bringing great mobility to the whole.
Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop. Only waxed finish.
