Description
This large bookcase library was designed by Willy Rizzo and manufactured by Italian high-end furniture manufacturer Cidue in the 1970's.
It has a manufacturer's stamp
It was very shortly in productions and it's a rare piece.
The main characteristics of the design are timeless stylish minimalist design form, functionality, high end craftsmanship and high quality of materials.
It consists of two bookcases, one measuring 145 cm in length and one measuring 135 cm in length.
The bookcase is made of metal, and black lacquered wood. It's a beautiful example of modernist Italian design. It has been manufactured with high-quality materials and it remains in very good original condition. It's a vintage piece and some small superficial scratches can be seen on the metal parts. The structure is very solid.
Metal shelves are very strong and without any defects (no bents or indentations).
Each end has one black tower-shaped cabinet 42 cm in width with metal shelves, each tower has one door that closes with the magnet.
Between the black towers there are 50 cm wide open shelves (smaller bookcase), and 60 cm (larger bookcase).
This piece can be completely disassembled (cheaper delivery cost). The more expensive delivery cost is for shipping the black towers in one piece - this makes assembling a bit more easy. I recommend a full disassembling because the assembling of the bookcase is not very complicated, it just takes some time.

Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Very good vintage conditions, small traces of cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, solid structure, no significant defects, fully functional as intended. The piece is more than 40 years old and, overall, remains in a very good condition.

Deliveries to UK:
For smaller items that fit into weight and size limits for Standard Parcel Delivery shipping costs are between 20 and 70 GBP and estimated delivery time is 2-5 working days. Weight limit is 30 kg and size limit for the parcel is 150 cm in length and 300 cm in gird. Some items that exceed these limits can be disassembled and shipped in multiple parcels with Standard delivery. If this is possible we will always ask customer if she or he agrees with such option.
For larger items or more delicate items we offer courier delivery which costs between 120 and 250 GBP, depending on the volume and weight of the shipment. This cost can be higher for items that don't fit into standardised Euro palette dimensions or for items that need to be disassembled and shipped packed in multiple parcels which exceed Euro palette dimensions. This kind of delivery includes insurance and estimated delivery time is 7-15 working days. Courier company delivers only to the ground floor. Deliveries to more remote parts of UK might be charged up to 30% of the usual cost.
For buyers from London it's sometimes possible to arrange private delivery with the van that operates directly from Zagreb to London once every 10 days. This delivery costs 2 GBP per kg, the deliverer calls in advance to arrange time of delivery and he is very flexible with such arrangements. This type of delivery can sometimes be postponed which is out of our control.
We are working on establishing more advanced solutions for shipping delicate and expensive objects with insurance companies and we hope this will be ready in the near future.
All our delivery costs stated in the listings are rough estimates. It's best to request in advance the accurate shipping quote for each item you are interested to purchase, and, of course, for combined shipping cost if applicable. We do not charge extra costs for shipping or packing our items and original shipping quote from a delivery company will be provided to each customer. The amount customer will pay for the shipping is the amount quoted by the shipping company or courier company. As mistakes can happen, any overcharged shipping cost will be refunded in the exact amount that was overcharged.

1. Free cancellations
Changed your mind before dispatch?
You can cancel any order before it's shipped for a full refund, including delivery.
To cancel an order, click Create cancellation on the order page.
Once an item has been dispatched, delivery costs are not refundable.
Bespoke, personalised or made-to-order pieces cannot be cancelled.
2. Returning an item
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return.
There are two return types:
A. The item isn't as described (free return)
If your piece arrives and it doesn't match the listing in any material way (incorrect description, undisclosed damage, inaccurate measurements, misleading photos), you are fully protected:
- Free return
- The seller or Vinterior arranges pickup
- Full refund, including outbound delivery costs once the seller receives the item
This applies to all purchases.
B. You changed your mind
UK-to-UK furniture deliveries:
To make UK furniture returns predictable and stress-free, we offer a simple flat return fee of £75.
- Applies to furniture delivered from a UK mainland seller to a mainland UK address. Excludes Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly.

All other items
Most smaller items are straightforward to return.
You can still return your item within 14 days.
- For smaller or parcel-sized items, you can choose to post the item back yourself using a tracked service, or the seller can suggest a preferred courier.
- For larger or more fragile pieces, the seller may recommend the safest return method.
- Return delivery costs vary depending on size and courier.

3. If your item arrives damaged
Damage on arrival is uncommon, especially for UK furniture deliveries.
But if something does go wrong, you're fully protected.

Returns are completed smoothly once the pickup is arranged.
7. Refunds
Once the seller receives the piece back in the same condition it was sent, we'll issue your refund to your original payment method.
Once a refund is issued, it may take up to 5–10 working days for the funds to appear back on your original payment method, depending on your bank or card provider.
If the item is returned with new damage that wasn't present at delivery, the refund may be adjusted following review.
