Luciano Frigerio, born in Desio in 1928, left an indelible mark on the world of furniture design and production, inheriting a family tradition of fine cabinetmaking. His early education, which culminated in a diploma in accounting from the Collegio Pio XI, was enriched by his passion for furniture design and musical composition.
The socioeconomic context of Brianza in the 1960s offered entrepreneurial opportunities in the art of furniture, and Frigerio seized this potential. Frequenting renowned workshops and meeting prominent figures such as Gio Ponti and Franco Albini inspired the transformation of the family business into an internationally oriented enterprise. In 1973, Frigerio was awarded the title of Commander of the Italian Republic, in recognition of his dedication to fine cabinetmaking.

The defining moment of his career emerged with the realization of his dream: one-of-a-kind furniture. Frigerio, supported by a team of technicians, created "Sculptural Furniture in Solid Wood" and "Sculptural Beds in Cast Bronze," representing a unique alternative to the industrial production of the time. These one-of-a-kind pieces embody artisanal excellence and the fusion of exquisite materials, positioning themselves as works of art in the design world.
