Provenance - Haselbech Oak and Country Furniture:
Haselbech Oak and Country Furniture, based in Northampton, England, were cabinetmakers and retailers of traditional handmade English oak furniture. Haselbech Oak was an established family business with a reputation for fine English craftsmanship and solid value. Their approach to furniture design and cabinet making is inspired by two generations of experience with fine antiques. A concern for quality is evident in every detail. Each piece of furniture was individually handmade using solid oak or cherrywood to recreate the authentic detail and craftsmanship of the 17th and 18th centuries. It was gently aged and hand polished, giving the rich patina of a fine antique, which would increase in beauty for generations to come. Trading until recently, their products included such items as sideboards, dressers, cabinets, bedroom furniture, dining tables, chairs, mirrors and desks.
