Vintage Stag bedside tables for sale at Vinterior
Synonymous with mid-century British furniture and design, Stag is a stalwart of the vintage aesthetic. Rather than focusing solely on Scandi-inspired designs, Stag opted to pay homage to the 19th century, with more ornate legs and detailing. However, the central design of Stag bedside tables retained the clean lines and simple form that make vintage furniture so desirable for the modern home.
The more leggy Stag Minstrel bedside drawers are much more reminiscent of Georgian furniture and can be enjoyed in more opulent surroundings. Launched in 1964, the design partnership between Stag and John and Sylvia Reid led to a series of pieces with more boho influences. These Stag Minstrel bedside tables broke the mould and chose to explore alternative designs to G Plan, Schreiber, and Avalon. But it was the Stag C range that was the most desirable embracing minimalism and simplicity. Taking inspiration from Danish design, these honey-hued pieces look contemporary even though they were made in the 1950s.
