Francis Russell, 2nd Earl of Bedford, KG (c. 1527 – 28 July 1585) of Chenies in Buckinghamshire and of Bedford House in Exeter, Devon, was an English nobleman, soldier, and politician. This print originates from 'The Heads of Illustrious Persons of Great Britain, engraven by Mr. Houbracken, and Mr. Vertuewith their Lives and Characters by Thomas Birch, A.M., F.R.S'.
