I’m Johnny Tyson, owner and maker at Fallen Giants. Whilst working for a designer kitchen company, I learned the techniques of cabinet making but was appalled by the waste involved. I became interested in how this "waste" wood could be usefully repurposed. I started collecting discarded wood and began to make my own furniture from it. Soon friends and family began asking me to make similar pieces for them. The idea for Fallen Giants was formed. I also love to find and restore vintage furniture pieces to their former glory.
