Kitchen scales from the Alexanderwerk company from the Art Nouveau era (short before or after 1900) in a strict basic form with a floral decor.
The scale is made of cast iron, painted beige with red, green and gold-colored accents, the scale pan is made of sheet metal.
The dial is enamelled, the weighing range is up to 10 kg in 50 gram increments. The inner ring shows the weighing range in pounds. There is an adjusting screw for the zero position at the rear.
There are slight dents in the shell, which has been polished and oiled (food-safe) - so minimal that they can hardly be photographed.
The original paint shows traces of time everywhere, but despite everything a beautiful and authentic piece of contemporary history.
