This is an exceptional antique English William IV silver plated rectangular tray with a beautiful trellis pattern galleried border, standing on elegant small feet and Circa 1840 in date.

Bearing the makers marks of the renowned silversmiths Mappin Brothers, 220 Regent Street, London, later to become Mappin & Webb.
This magnificent tray is one of the finest examples of its type you could hope to acquire.
