Brand/Maker: Archie Shine

Country: England

Year/Era: Late 1950s to 1960s

Description: A stunning, high quality sideboard by renown furniture maker Archie Shine. The teak has a lovely patina and the signature reeded solid rosewood drawer fronts contrast beautifully. Features 4 wide drawers, the top being felt lined and divided for cutlery, the other 3 all have a central divider. To the right hand side, the double doors open to reveal one large space, with a shaped shelf allowing bottle storage. The quality is seen throughout this piece and in the details with solid, shaped back edge, tapered legs, shaped plinth, brass knobs, etc.
