Late Victorian Mahogany & Inlaid Upholstered Lady's 'Slipper' Chair.

A modestly charming late Victorian piece in good condition, having a mahogany & inlaid back with mixed decorative motifs, including Adam-style classical urn & swags, carved acanthus leaf and sunburst, around a pierced splat, on turned front legs and original brass & ceramic casters, over-stuffed and covered with a diamond pattern fabric, this lovely lady's 'slipper' chair was surely only ever a decorative piece and will still delight in the most tasteful of period-inspired boudoirs, attracting admiring attention from family & guests alike.

O/All Width 47.5cm x Depth 54cm (18.75" x 21.25")
O/All Height 73.5cm (29") & Height to Seat 36.5cm (14.5")

This is a genuine antique from the late 19thC, so you may expect the mature character that only comes with considerable age but, re-upholstered within the last 20-25 years, it's in good, clean & sound condition.
