Mochaware tankard or pint mug, excise stamped GR 19, made by TG Green of Church Gresley, Derbyshire. It would have originally been used in a public house for ale. Small hairline crack and some discolouration to inside base. Wonderful character.

Named after a type of desirable agate shipped from the port of Mocha in Yemen (more famed for its coffee of course) Mocha decoration is made by dripping a coloured acidic solution into wet alkaline slip. This produces random dendritic marking resembling mocha stone and as such, each one is unique. This one has cobalt blue and buff markings.

Width: 13.5 cm
Height: 12.5 cm
Depth: 9.0 cm

Estimated Time: Less than one week

The price of delivery for our items can vary quite significantly, depending on the size, weight and fragility of an item and the area to be delivered to. For items that can not be sent in the post, we use a door-to-door courier service.

The majority of courier deliveries in the UK cost only £67, this is a competitive quote as we are based in South Devon. We also work with a courier that travels regularly to Italy offering exceptionally good prices (for example £220 to Florence for a large bookcase) and we endeavour to offer reasonable quotes for items across Europe.

Our UK deliveries are generally achieved within one to two weeks. Delivery is with one driver only, therefore help is required to unload larger items. Please be rest assured that we do our best to obtain the most competitive quote we can, and we pass the direct quote on to our customers to be paid directly to the courier. We only work with professional, fully insured couriers.

Please note the minimum and maximum prices quoted are for mainland UK. Please note we need to share your address and contact details in order for the courier to complete the delivery and for the courier to confirm dates and times with you.

This item will be shipped from Totnes, United Kingdom.
