Vintage Design
This Seal lounge chair was designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for OPE in 1956. It is made from birch and still has it's original fabric. In 1956, the Danish furniture architect Ib Kofod-Larsen got an assignment from the Swedish furniture maker OPE Möbler (Olof Persons Fåtöljindustri) to design a series of Danish style furniture. One of the most prominent pieces of this assignment was the Seal. The chair is in vintage condition, and the upholstery needs to be redone.
