This is the first thing we ever sourced and displayed – for a historian friend. The story of German hyperinflation. A piece of 20th Century history, a great talking point and fabulous to look at whether you're a banker or a historian. These five notes take us from the original 19th century Mark, through 500 thousand, 50 million and 1 billion marks and then back to 1 Rentenmark when the currency was reset in 1923. The notes are in mint uncirculated condition apart from the 500,000 mark note, these can't be sourced in mint condition because they were actually worth something meaningful.
