This is a fine example of Chinese embroidery and symbols used to adorn the bride in the Qing dynasty period.
The front of the collar is fine silk cut and embroidered with symbols of happiness, fertility, fortune and other important symbols to bring to the married life of the couple.
The reverse is very fine hand spun and dyed red wool. Red is the traditional color for brides in China).
Overall very good condition.
Perfect to frame for a striking and colorful wall decoration.
