About this item

Adjustable red table or wall light designed by Floris Fiedeldij for Artimeta in ca. 1956; very beautiful due to its simplicity. The red shade is partly perforated, creating a nice light effect. Considering its age this lamp is still in good original condition, normal traces of use and wear. The wiring has been checked by an electrician. Source: Artimeta 1956 catalogue (see photo). Nice detail is that Mathieu Matégot also designed many things for Artimeta in that period and most likely had an influence on the perforated cap on the back of the shade. 1 in stock
