The original big Hala ‘Pinocchio’ floor lamp designed by H. Busquet. Metal tripod black and white stand, ending in a flex part, holding a red metal adjustable shade, which is decorated with a die cut star pattern. The light evokes a fantastic mid-fifties atmosphere. Good condition, all electric parts have been checked, wiring replaced. One E27 bulb holder. Comes with a professional packing service when ordered.
HALA was one of the Dutch progressive lighting companies which became succesfull after the second world war, during the rebuilding years. Besides the particular collaboration with Busquet the origin for using slender shapes and optimistic color schemes can be found in the work of French and Italian designers such as Pierre Guariche and Gino Sarfatti.
Great condition, no denting, all is working perfect, wiring replaced, electrical parts have been checked. Suitable for max 250 volt, modern LED light fits. Comes with a professional packing service when ordered.
