In a vivid blush ware colours and hand decorated with bouquet of flowers - large pink rose at centre moulded flower and leaf border. This is a showy teapot and was probably someones pride and joy in its early days. It has a historic repair to the knobob of lid which has been stapled - please see photos 6 & 7. It also has a chip to the end of spout - photo 8. Stamped Burlem Royal Staffordshire to base. The lid is the right one for the teapot but it does not rest flush to pot.
