About this item

Beautiful French antique fish serving set decorated with the gorgeous Art Nouveau design. Handles features a floral decor with fleur de lis and upper parts are finely engraved with fish. Very rare and sumptuous decor !

This set includes a fish fork and knife. They are made of sterling silver handle and silver plated upper parts. Each piece bears the silversmith hallmmark: a cross and the three letters ARD for Crossard Joseph who was a French silversmith active from 1900 till 1920 at 36 rue de Montmorency in Paris. The silverware set is offered with its original case with cream color fabric.

French sterling silver hallmark on the handle: Minerva's Head, first title meaning they are in .950 silver (95% pure and so a bit higher than the .925 standard for “sterling” silver).

Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
This antique set is in very good condition with some normal signs of ages like tiny scratches. The presentation box shows some wears, one fixing is broken on the back.
