About this item

A pair of ceramic vases with line motif by ceramicist Bruno Gambone, (circa 1970s). These elegantly shaped narrow-opening flower vases are truly works of art. With modern rectangular bases and lean necks their shape has their origins in primitive works. There is a black vase and the other with Gambone's signature chalk-white with brown speckles. The colours are the backdrop for a straight but unsteady line motif on both sides. Uncommonly desirable and very collectible, these earthenware pieces would be an elegant and stylish addition to your home or office. In very good vintage condition. There is a characterful production blemish near the neck of the black vase. Signed: 'Gambone Italy'. A video clip of these pieces may be provided upon request.
