The presence of lead oxide, while not guaranteeing English origin, means that this is most likely English. These were also made in Liege and The Netherlands although, given the presence of lead oxide, we think these are most likely of English origin and therefore probably from Bristol as this was the most common source of such baskets in England. The term "traforato" is Italian and simply means perforated.
