Two sections of theatrical female armour dating from the late 19th or early 20th Century, by repute from The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Comprising a front and back section, both are painted brass with raised polished brass edges and have traces of the original medieval style decoration and remains of leather straps to the sides.
The breastplate measures 44cm high (at the lighted point) and is 26cm wide. The backplate is 28cm high and 26cm wide.
