About this item

A charming and primitive late 18th century English Staffordshire pottery model of the head of a pug.

It is hollow, white earthenware, glazed with the highlights picked out in black.

It would have originally been a bonbonierre or a snuff box however it is without the rim or lid so only serves as a decorative piece.

Made in England c1780's a charming little Staffordshire figure in good condition minus his lack of lid but the price reflects this.

A lovely little piece perfect for the collector and small enough to fit to the decor of any room.

Approx 2" height and 1.5" diameter of the base.
