About this item

French shepherd horn made of carved horn that was meant to be filled by gunpowder

It features a typical shepherd smoking a huge pipe with its herd behind him, above a small village with characteristic little thatch roof houses and a church in the foreground.
There is a little heart at the back, with the initials of the owner of the horn: VA.
Also the shape of this horn is really interesting: It is a bit curved as the object was meant to be worn at the belt.
