About this item

Set of two confectionery ART NOUVEAU - Secesja Pallme-König, 1898-1910. Pallme-König

Sugar-cakes were created in the years 1890-1910. Made in a modern style for this time ART NOUVEAU - Secession. They have all the characteristic elements of decorating like the thread of glass, proportions, colors and iridescent glow. As this label has not made its products, it is not possible to determine 100% of the date of manufacture. It is certain that the presented sugar bowls were created in the years 1890-1910. Pallme-Konig or Elisabeth Huta Szkła was a valued, manufactory of the artistic glassworks, in which high-quality artistic glass was produced during the Art Nouveau period. Although the origins of the company actually go back to the end of the 18th century, when the glass works were conducted by Ignaz Pallme-Konig in Steinschonau. One of the confectioners has a small damage at the bottom, shown in the picture.
