About this item

This vintage, TEVIC transistor wall clock with pale-gold decor and brass-colored trim, was made by renowned French clockmaker company, Jaz Electronics.

The clock's name, "TEVIC", comes from the origin of its shape, which is reminiscent of the television from this period.
This particular clock model, was in production from 1967 - 1975 and only came in three colors: black, india rosewood & "pear tree."

This particular clock, is known as 'black ref. 2701-30' on the Polyrey color chart and was featured as 'new' on page 14 of the Jaz 1967/68 catalog.
Jaz stopped producing it in 1974.
