A pair of antique early 19th century Georgian Old Sheffield Plate telescopic Candlesticks dating to circa 1820.

Standing on circular stepped foot with gadrooned banding.

The shafts of plain form again with gadrooning to the bands and rising to urnular sconces.

The candlesticks are of telescopic form meaning the height can be raised or lowered.

In fair antique condition with wear, marks and minor dents commensurate with age and use and one of the telescopic mechanisms being loose.

A very useful and still beautiful pair of Georgian antique pieces.
