About this item

This rare, beautiful mid-century piece from France, circa 1960's, is neither
too big or small for any given space. It can be used as a side or storage
table, for your favorite vinyl records or as magazine rack.

It comes with two, metal, slatted shelves, that at some point, were probably
used to store a fair amount of vinyl records (33 1/3 & 45 rpm.)

Woven between them, are thin, V-shaped, black, vinyl "Scoubidou"straps.

The structure of the table is gilded with fine gold; it comes with an attached
piece, stamped with the words "Guaranteed, fine gold-plated" (in French)
and has "Eiffel Tower" legs (aka "feet"), on multi-directional, functional

The metal table top is painted black, presenting a design pattern
reminiscent of the style of renowned, French designer, Mathieu Mategot
and provides sufficient space to place a turntable, or small stereo system.

The piece is in overall, very good original condition, with light wear consistent with age and use on the patina
and traces of time, on the wheels.

This vintage item remains fully functional, but it shows sign of age through scuffs, dings or faded finishes.
Priced as a singlular piece.
