About this item

This table has clean and angular lines, clearly influenced by the ‘De Stijl’ movement. There are no decorative elements, all attention is focused on the appearance of the natural wood grain structure and the striking finger joint wood construction of the panels. The origin of van Apeldoorns work can be found in the hand-crafted house-hold and wood related decorative items, that van Apeldoorn made from the late 1950s.The style is reminiscent to the designs of Tapiovaara, Rietveld and Rainer Daumiller. Great natural expression and grain pattern in the wood. The wood construction is very solid, though some usermarks and roughly built. These tables can easily double as a set of stools! Price for the set of 2.
