About this item

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning circa 1900 Arts & Crafts solid English Oak with hand-dyed brown leather top six drawer fully restored Library table
A very rare piece, ideally suited in the modern sense for an esteemed library or a show-stopping dining table. The table just screams arts and crafts style, charm and craftsmanship. Just look at the sublime yet subtle carving on the legs, the solid brass castors with fixing plates which come over the base of the legs, this table is so subtle in its detail yet absolutely exquisite to look at, the pictures don’t come close to ding it justice
It has been fully restored to include a strip back and French polish on all timber work, the leather top has been washed back then hand-dyed this glorious deep cigar brown colour. This colour is exclusive to my leather polishers, if you look at my other items you will see various luxury leather seating that matches it
The table is totally original, the only addition is somewhere in the 1950’s BW & Co 4 level locks were fitted to all the drawers, otherwise its exactly as it was from new
