Mid Century Avalon Teak Long and low Sideboard in excellent vintage condition with a really lovely tone and grain to the teak. Attractive handles to the cupboards and drawers which are all original with no repairs. Top drawer has the original felt lining which is in perfect condition. The drawer is sectional and contains the makers label.
Cupboards either side of the drawers which have sliding doors that run to the middle. Removable shelf to each cupboard. Cupboards are immaculately clean and free from odours or stains. Doors slide easily. Fitted with high quality Matt Black Hairpin Legs. Extremely well cared for by one previous owner this unit was once part of a larger wall unit. There are some small discreet screw holes to the top where it was previously fixed but they are not really noticeable due to the deep grain. Having regard to the fact that the item will be viewed from the front and items, probably a TV, will be placed on top they will not be noticeable. There is a tiny chip to the edge as shown which could easily be filled for perfection but it is barely noticeable and blends with the grain. This is a vintage item from the 1960's and is in excellent vintage condition. Cleaned and lightly polished ready for use in the home. Drawers run as they should and Doors to the cupboards slide easily to the middle.
