This gorgeous sideboard/credenza made of oak and oak veneer, was produced by SAM (Société auxiliaire de meubles) Meubles du milieu du siecle (Mid-century furniture) in Bordeaux, France.
In excellent original condition and has been stamped by the maker.

The typical and classic lines from the reconstruction period of this fifties sideboard are recognizable amongst all. It features high compass legs, geometric overflows and tons of character.
A piece with great storage capacity, this sideboard has 3 doors (all functional) and each side has two shelves (bottom and upper), which will look perfect in a living room or dining area.

There are three brass handles with classic, 'fifties black 'scoubidou' wrapping.
There is one brass key which opens and closes the left and right door.
This piece has an attribution mark such as a manufacturer’s label, a certificate of authenticity, or a production mark.
Piece is a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature.

This vintage item has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use:
~ Light wear consistent with age and use.
~ Some of the veneer on the edges had to be repaired.
~ Old marks inside on the left side shelving.
~ Tiny part of veneer missing on the lower left side of the top and on the upper part of the right door.
~ Piece has been gently cleaned, then waxed with natural bee wax.
