About this item

This stunning sideboard designed by Malcolm Walker for Dalescraft has such elegant styling. Dalescraft were a fairly small maker, working from Pudsey in Leeds, that were big on quality. Designed for Dalescraft’s Hayworth collection, this piece has an obvious Scandinavian design influence, typical of the mid-century period. The frame that the cabinet sits on being the clearest example of this influence. The little drawer and door handles and the beautiful shaping of the top piece are other stand-out design features of this sideboard.

Condition is super. There’s an old, small split on the right hand edge of the top of the sideboard. It appears in some of the photographs but is hard to spot as it is not easily noticed and does not affect stability or use. All items of this age will show some signs of use commensurate with their age. This item is in very nice condition. Please ask if you'd like any further detail re condition.
