An outstanding asymmetrical desk designed by Peter Lovig Nielsen for Hedensted Mobelfabrik, Denmark. One of the most handsome desks you can find. This example executed in lush Brazilian rosewood exhibiting wonderful character to the grain. A bank of three drawers with the uppermost lockable. To the reverse is an open shelf bookcase which would look amazing with a fine selection of books or curated objects on display. Next to this is a lockable cabinet with mirrored back and single shelf. The desk stands on very architectural sleigh legs with signature brass supports braces. This example stamped by the designer and dated 1969. This piece has an attribution mark such as a manufacturer’s label, a certificate of authenticity, or a production mark. This vintage item has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use.
