About this item

Bookcase entirely in solid mahogany and veneered, back included, Louis XVI style, opening with two doors. They are made up, on 3/4 of their surfaces, of panes underlined by brass Doucine rods forming frames. We find these same ornaments on the top rail and the base of the furniture, on the sides, as well as around the solid panels that make up the lower part of the doors.
The interior offers five shelves, 27 cm deep, placed on racks and therefore adjustable as desired over a total storage height of 190 cm. Note that four of them are embellished with half-round brass rods on their visible edges.
The doors have long cut brass lock entries and the right one has a working lock with high and low hanging points. The furniture is supplied with its key.
The front uprights of this Showcase are embellished with twice three grooves also lined with brass.
This alloy is very present on this piece of furniture since it is also found on the Joint cover, formed of a dish in its center and a double groove, or even in the form of ridged plates summing the uprights.
This Parquet Library is, by definition, based on a large plinth.
This Elegant Library, Charming with its many brass attributes, is completely removable by a simple system of return screws, despite reasonable dimensions.
Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop. Finish only waxed after pickling.
