About this item

Identifiable as a 1960’s sofa from 50 paces, this sofa has much vintage panache but it delivers on modern comfort and practicality too. It’s taller than most midcentury sofas and with its sectioned back, it supplies superb back support from the base to the top of your spine.

We’re always on the hunt for this particular design of sofa with back panel split in two. This design feature combined with the perfect tilt (see the profile shot to get a sense of this) makes this style of sofa one of the most comfortable sits. The angled cambers of the back sections nestle into your back just where they need to. You might never get back up again!

And there is no denying this sofa's good looks. With gentle angles and curves, it’s a welcoming sofa, looking handsome from all sides so will suit any space. The teak arm rests match the wooden frame on show along the front and back lengths of the sofa.

The fabric is a chocolate / grey pure wool so hard-wearing and stable. It has much warmth and is a cosy versatile choice for this family sofa. It’s rather difficult to accurately convey the texture and subtlety of this particular fabric colour in photos but we are always very happy to send out fabric swatches.
