This very unusual piece is listed at £1,600 but we are happy to consider serious offers.

This settee is traditionally called a settle and dates from the early part of the 20th century. It has been fully restored and newly upholstered in a striking fabric by Emma J Shipley with yellow piping detail and comes with a pair of acid yellow velvet bolster cushions (filled with feathers). The main seat cushion and bolster cushions have zips so can be easily removed for cleaning. It would look great in any maximalist interior - home or hotel!

Early 20th century (1910’s-1930’s).

Wood (mahogany); fabric (main patterned fabric – 100% cotton; velvet - 100% polyester); feathers; wool felt.

Very good vintage condition. Newly upholstered.

Overall height - 105cm; overall width - 139cm; overall depth - 61cm; seat height - 53cm; seath width - 113cm; seat depth - 52cm.

The settee has new webbing and stuffing and the show wood has been cleaned and waxed.
The settee is upholstered in a fabric by Emma J Shipley (Amazon Cotton Satin). The yellow velvet is by Linwood (Omega Italian Velvet / 31 Lemon) and is stain-resistant. If you would like a sample of either fabric before purchasing, please contact us and we will send you some samples. The Emma J Shipley fabric has a Martindale Rub Test of 30,000. The Linwood fabric has a Martindale Rub Test of 100,000. Both fabrics conform to BS5852 Part 2 Cigarette & Ign 1 Match.
As the piece as some age to it, there are a few marks and scratches (please look closely at the photographs).

We try to keep shipping costs to under £90.00. However, as the piece is quite large, it may exceed £90.00. If you are interested in the piece, please contact us via Vinterior for a quote.
