About this item

A perfect pair of boucle wool upholstered Groovy chairs, or model F598 chairs, designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, The Netherlands, 1973.
This sculptural pair of lounge chairs has been delicately upholstered in an ivory/crème boucle wool which looks and feels really soft and looks wonderful on the curvy shape of the chairs. This pair of chairs is executed with black metal feet which adds a great graphic contrast to the chairs. Like all iconic undulating chairs Pierre Paulin has designed -such as his Ribbon chair and ABCD chair-, the Groovy chair supports the body in a very comfortable way. Upholstery in excellent condition. Minor traces of wear to the metal feet consistent with age and use. price per set.
