This set of two extremely rare Modernist chairs were designed by Herbert Hirche and manufactured by Mauser Werke in West Germany during the 1970s.
The frame is made from full anodized tubular aluminum which is characteristic for Mauser's designs.The upholstery is beautiful original soft tan leather which has been left untouched.Anybody that knows about Mauser Werke manufacturing company will know these chairs scream quality and build second to none.
Extremely comfortable.Extremely heavy.
The chairs come as a pair one having arm rests (King) and one without arms (Queen)
Both chairs with measure approximately 85cm tall, and 65cm deep with a seat height of 46cm.
The chair with the arm rests measures approximately 67cm wide.
The chair without the arm rests measures approximately 54cm wide.
Both chairs are in great vintage condition with some age related wear to the leather I.e some light colour fading and some light cracking of the leather none of which detract from the beauty of these fantastic rare chairs.Viewing of the chairs more than welcome.
